The right exposure

Thursday, 21 January 2010
Pixel8 Photos provide high quality, editorial photographic coverage of sports events. They came to Recognition for a redesign of their existing website which was created using an online photographers tool.

After creating a modern logo and style for Pixel8 Photos, Recognition created a clean, simple web design that helps showcase the photos. The approved design concept was then integrated into the Photoshelter.com system to keep the advanced functionality such as password protected galleries, advanced searchs, upcoming events and client areas along with all that’s needed to sell imagery online!

Pixel8 owner comments:
Recognition was recommended by an associate and I have no hesitation in giving them the acknowledgment they deserve! They provided Pixel8Photos.com with a stylish and unique logo and professional website which has the backbone of one of the leading online photographic distribution solutions behind it. I would be glad to recommend Recognition to anyone looking for a great creative yet technical design agency.”

Map Design for Maritime Academy

Monday, 7 December 2009

Recognition Design & Marketing have just completed a redesign of the Warsash Maritime Academy's location maps.
The maps, which will be used on the Academy's printed materials and website, needed a complete redesign and overhaul, so that the style was consistent, accurate and up to date.

Using Adobe Illustrator the vector maps were redrawn from a birds eye view perspective and were based on the old maps but with additional buildings and information as well as clear directional markers.

Emily Steel, Marketing Co-ordinator said:
We were extremely happy with the high level of customer serviced received, Recognition were conscious of our needs and responded quickly and professionally. Everything was easy, at all times we felt completely looked after. We ended up with a very high quality design that we are thrilled with and will definitely return.
